■商品説明
【KAC KS-1】ライフルは、米国のKnight's Armament Company （KAC）によってSR-15/16シリーズの改良版として設計、製造されたAR-15 スタイルのライフルです。
英国軍は、2021年に英国陸軍と英国海兵隊の特殊作戦部隊が使用するL85およびL119 ライフルの後継機（AIW：Alternative Individual Weapon）を選抜する“プロジェクト・ハンター計画”を立ち上げました。
KS-1は、この要件に合わせて開発されました。
厳しいトライアルの末、2023年9月、13.7インチバレルのKS-1ライフルが選抜され【L403A1AIW】の名称で採用されました。
KAC KS-1 ライフルは英国で運用されるL85ライフルに置き換わり、M4やHK416など同じAR-15スタイルライフルを運用する同盟国との連携強化の役割が期待されています。

**Product Description**
The [KAC KS-1] rifle is an AR-15 style rifle designed and manufactured by the U.S. Knight's Armament Company (KAC) as an improvement over the SR-15/16 series. In 2021, the UK Ministry of Defence launched the "Project Hunter" program to select a successor to the L85 and L119 rifles for the British Army and the Royal Marines Special Forces (AIW: Alternative Individual Weapon). The KS-1 was developed to meet these requirements.
After passing a rigorous selection trial, the KS-1 rifle with a 13.7-inch barrel was selected and adopted under the name [L403A1AIW] in September 2023. The KAC KS-1 rifle will replace the L85 in UK military service and is expected to strengthen collaboration with allied countries operating similar AR-15 style rifles, such as the M4 and HK416.
